Coming to Maryland

Hi all....I am excited to tell you that I am "coming home" to Maryland on March 15th. My kids have Spring Break the last 2 weeks of March and I am coming home to visit friends and relatives and do some photo shoots as well. If you would like to set up a session with me for your family or just your children please let me know ASAP. I have lots of plans to see the sights in DC as well so I want to get the sessions scheduled now. There are no session fees:) You can contact me here or on Facebook or at 954-913-9641!!

Thanks and I look forward to seeing everyone soon!!

13 going on 23

Just wanted to share an example of my work. This is a portrait that I shot of my beautiful 13 year old (yes she is really only 13) neighbor. Thank you A for allowing me the privilege of showing the world what a special girl you are:)

Hello clients and friends

Welcome to Kara Seelye Photography. I am an on location, natural light photographer specializing in sports and family photos. My website is currently under construction and I cannot wait for you to see it!! I will let you know when it is up and running:) I started my business on a wing and a prayer last Fall at the urging of my dear friend Rashell who is an Alpharetta/Atlanta based photographer. (www.imagerybyrashell.com) Photography is something that has always been close to my heart. I have been interested in this art since my parents put that first Polaroid camera in my hands when I was a little girl. I have been shooting kids and pets avidly since I had my first child in 1994, however I did not buy a serious SLR until July 2007. Things have really taken off since that time. I would like to thank the following families for giving me my start: Harootunian, Klos, Locke, Schwartz, Moabery, Rodriguez, Borodiak, Lanciotti, Padnis, Peragine, Granata, Davy, Gaynor, Marshall, and Lakel. It has been a pleasure and an honor to work with you and I look forward to our continued friendship and business relationship. Here's to a great 2009!!
